Community Compost
About this Event
Join us as we build a compost that transforms our beautiful autumn leaves and garden waste into valuable fertiliser to nourish our spring crops!
In this hands-on session, you鈥檒l help create a compost pile and structure, adding collected components to our compost bay while learning about the fascinating science behind composting. No prior knowledge or skills are required - there鈥檚 a role for everyone! Whether it鈥檚 constructing with old pallets, shredding paper, or raking leaves, your contribution will make a difference.
After our hard work, we鈥檒l share a delicious afternoon tea of warm soup and bread to recharge and connect with the community.
